another thought i had after finishing apollo justice is how at the very end the judge goes on a sort of beautiful rant about how the law is the culmination of human history & advancement and that striving to perfect it is our goal as human beings…. and we’re just supposed to accept that this came out of the mouth of the same man who didn’t know what nail polish was a couple hours earlier??

today: maya convinces phoenix to let her paint his nails

Been playing through aa4's final case and despite being framed as a back-and-forth in time, most of the investigation makes sense chronologically, with Phoenix only presenting evidence he could have already acquired. EXCEPT his conversation with Zak about Apollo. This is because he only learns Thalassa had a previous marriage from Spark Brushel, after the posioning of Vera Misham. At which point Zak has been dead for 6 months.
